At Mohawk Valley Community College, we strive to make our college community welcoming, affirming, and inclusive for all. Here you will find a wide variety of resources, including information on housing, restrooms, trainings, allies on campus, and local/off-campus resources.

Gender and Sexuality Alliance 

The Gender and Sexuality Alliance is a student club at 911³Ô¹Ï that provides support and education on LGBTQIA+ issues in today's society.

LGBTQ+ Workgroup

911³Ô¹Ï's LGBTQ+ Workgroup activities are overseen by the Office of Student Affairs. Initiatives of this committee include hosting or co-hosting campus events such as National Coming Out Day, World AIDS Day, and Lavender Graduation. This committee also coordinates trainings, recommends policy, procedure, and signage changes, and raises funds for community events. 

Online Pop-Up Pride Shop

The LGBTQ+ Workgroup has created an online pop-up shop where students and staff can purchase 911³Ô¹Ï Pride items like shirts, hats, and water bottles. The shop helps to raise funds for our GSA to provide LGBTQIA+ programming and events.
